So I have finally managed to sit down and tell you about Christmas. Our trip to Texas was adventurous to say the least. We were only delayed an hour and a half on the way there and 3 hours on the way back (an hour of which was on the plane), both the boys got ear infections (which kept us from seeing my brother and his family since they were ready to have my beautiful new niece, Nina, and the last thing they needed in their home was a virus). But we got to spend an entire week with my mom and dad, which was worth everything. Thank you Pap and Nonni for a wonderful week.
No trip of ours would be complete without a train visit. A friend of my dad's arranged this up close and personal tour of the Longview shunting yard. Adam would have stayed there the entire week, but..
Jake rather find rocks and throw them.
It was pretty cold while we were there so good thing Paul reminded me to pack the snow coats.
A pop for Pap.
Just chillin.
My mom had the brilliant idea to put a mattress on the living room floor and let the kids go to town. And here is their Matrix impressions.
Nonni got in on the action too, despite the broken elbow and tendonitis in her wrist.
We also celebrated Paul's birthday while we were there. Thanks mom and dad for making every part of the trip special.

That looks like a fun trip. I bet Adam just adored those trains. I love the picture of the boys jumping together. So cute.
