Nonni's 60th

What an amazing trip to Texas!!! It has been a while since my family has been able to get together, but this was well worth the wait. Thank you Brian and Katie for planning such an amazing weekend to celebrate out mom.

What trip would be complete without visiting a new train? We had to tear Adam away as usual. Now Adam has added the "black train" to the list of trains he dreams about.

How happy are my mom and dad to be surrounded by their grandkids?

These are the amazing signs that Katie and Sophia made to help celebrate the big occasion.

Another genius idea of Katie's...a tribute cake for my mom. WL is her college (West Liberty). SH is Spring Hill, where she teaches and where Brian and I graduated. Then there is the Italian flag, of course.

The horse is Big Red, where mom graduated high school.

Delta Zeta was her sorority and to top it off, The Steelers.

In their housing community, there is the awesome beach pool and water park for the kids. All the kids had a blast, and look at the goombas "protecting" everyone.

Jake walked through this tunnel at least a dozen times, just like this.

Brian's neighbor let us use his pool one afternoon, and we all had a blast, oh, and Adam starting swimming all by himself!!!!!

Jake liked going down the slide his way.

And Adam got half way down the slide and decided it wasn't such a good idea. Doesn't he look cool with his matching goggles, floaties, and earplugs. Oh he is going to hate me someday, but it was his choice.

My brother has Rock Band, and my boys LOVED it. They kept asking uncle Brian if they could play Rock and Roll.

To top off the weekend, yet another great idea from Brian and Katie...a professional family photo shoot. Mom wanted a Steeler picture.
