For the second year in a row, Paul and I raced in the Marine Camp Pendleton Mud Run. It is a 10K through walls of water, up a 1.8 mile steep incline, through tunnels, across a lake, through creeks, up muddy slopes, over walls, and through giant mud pits. Doesn't that sound like fun? Well it is. We generally laugh most of the way (expect for the 1.8 mile up hill from hell).
Here we are shiny and clean before the fun begins.

Our team this year.

The aftermath.

To give you an idea, my shirt was white, and my socks were light pink with white polka dots. We'll be back for more next year.

It looks like you had fun but I hate mud. But the run sounds great!
